Position Overview:
Drury Moss Collision is looking to add a Collision Body Technician who is self-motivated and has high personal goals and objectives to our family. We are looking for a skilled Auto Body Technician to work on vehicles in a fast-paced auto body shop environment. As a Collision Body Technician, you'll perform vehicle repairs as assigned in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. Drury Moss Collision uses industry leading production process that result in additional workflow for the technician allowing for greater opportunity to earn more money.
Position Duties:
Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair and status
Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind
Ability to use frame machine
Performing work as outlined on repair orders
Performing welding, body alignment, frame/unibody repairs, and cosmetic panel repairs
Operating all equipment in the collision center in a safe and productive manner
Following Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) while working on the production floor
Inspecting all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed
Mixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications
Integrate into a blueprint model in which you might not disassemble the car you are working on
Qualifications/Experience:
I-CAR Certification in body repair preferred
Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM Certified Preferred)
I-CAR welding certified
Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
1 Year Collision Repair Experience
Must be able to operate a vehicle legally
Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude
Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
